RPTVs :


F59 SERIES

* Press and hold the {MENU} button on the TV.
* Then press the {MENU} {8} {SELECT} buttons on the remote.
* To exit, press the {MENU} button on the TV or
the {EXIT} button on the remote control.

DCAM Mode:

* Using the remote control:
* Hold down the {TV} button.
* Press the {MENU} button.
* Press the {INFO} button.
* Release the {TV} button.
* Remote Control Key Functions When In DCAM Mode:

{INPUT} ............. Blue (13x9 adjust)
{ASPECT} ............ ROM Write
{DAY/NIGHT} ......... ROM Read
{MENU} .............. Remove Color
{EXIT} .............. Cross Hatch/Video Mode
{INFO} .............. Green
{GUIDE} ............. Calculation
{2} ................. Cursor UP
{5} ................. Cursor DOWN
{6} ................. Cursor RIGHT

To Exit The DCAM Mode:

* Press and hold the {TV} button.
* Press the {0} button.
* Press the {1} button.
* Release the {TV} button.

-Press the {MENU} button and go to the User Menu screen, make sure
that the indicator (arrow) is pointed and highlights the "Picture Control".

- The buttons on top of the remote are set to TV & VCR respectively.

- Set sleep timer to "0" minutes and while it is displayed, simultaneously
press the {VIDEO STATUS} & {DISPLAY} buttons.

- The main service menu will be displayed with choices #1 through #9.
- Press one of the corresponding number keys to enter that menu.

- Use the {CH+} {CH-} buttons to navigate within a menu.
- Use the {VOL+} {VOL-} buttons to change the values.
- Use the {MUTING} button to memorize the changed value.
- Use the {BACK} button to exit the service menu.

Using the remote control:

- Press the {INFO} & {MUTE} buttons at the same time.
- The Service Menu will be displayed

- Use the number keys to select the category.
- Use the {VOL+} {VOL-} buttons to enter the category.
NOTE: Some models don't have category selection.
- Use the {CH+} {CH-) buttons to select item to be adjusted.
- Use the {VOL+} {VOL-} buttons to change values.
- Press the {INFORMATION} button to exit.

# While a "Thank You" message is displayed on screen, press the {MUTE} and {MENU} buttons.

* Write down all values before changing
Once a value is changed, THE CHANGE IS MADE.
* Power off to exit service mode and save.

PA25UP / PD25UP / PX25UP :


* Using the remote control:
* Press the {MENU} button.
* Set "Antenna A" to "Cable".
* Select "Timer" menu and set sleep timer to 30 min.
* Press {OK} twice to exit menus.
* Tune to channel 124.
* Press and hold {VOL -} button ON THE PLASMA TV.

"CHK" appears in on top-left corner followed by 5 letter/numbers
(which are the cumulative hours in hex numbers)

* While the "CHK" is displayed, press the {OK} and {VOL+} buttons
ON THE TV simultaneously to toggle between Modes:

— Red "CHK" for Serviceman — Yellow "CHK" for Aging —

* Press the {POWER} button on the remote to select one of the six
Serviceman Adjustments Modes.

A. MTS ADJUSTMENT
B. CLOCK ADJUSTMENT
C. VIDEO ADJUSTMENT
D. HDEF ADJUSTMENT
E. VDEF ADJUSTMENT
F. DAF ADJUSTMENT

* Press {CH+} {CH -} on the remote to select the settings
on each of Service Adjustment Modes.

Write down the original values before modifying anything.

* Press the {INPUT} button on the remote.
* The input list will come up.
* Then press the {0} {9} {1} {7} buttons on the remote.
* To exit, press the {EXIT} button on the remote.

You can also press the back button when you are
in each category to get back to the main menu.

4th / 5th / 6th / 7th GENERATION MODELS

* Make sure the Plasma and the Media Box are in standby.
* Using the remote control:
* Press {DISPLAY} button (just press, do not hold) and wait 3 seconds.
* Press {LEFT} {UP} {LEFT} {RIGHT} {POWER} buttons.
* The Plasma will turn on with the "Information" page displayed.
* Press {MUTE} to move through the levels of menus:

INFORMATION
FUNCTION CHECK
COMMON ADJ
OPTION
INITIALIZE

* Press the {DOWN} button to move through individual menus.
* To exit, power it down.

3rd GENERATION MODELS

* Power Down at the panel.
* Hold down {INPUT} & {VOL+} buttons on the panel.
* Turn on the Plasma at the panel.
* The service menu will come up.
* Scroll down using the arrow keys.
* To exit, power it down.

PA20UP / PX20UP :


* Using the remote control:
* Press the {MENU} button.
* Press "Setup" menu.
* On "Mode" menu, select "Cable"
* Select "Timer" menu and set sleep timer to 30 min.
* Press {ACTION} twice to exit menus.
* Tune to channel 124.
* Press and hold {VOL -} button ON THE PLASMA TV.

"CHK" appears in on top-left corner followed by 5 letter/numbers

* Hold down the {VOL -} button ON THE PLASMA DISPLAY.
* Press the {STATUS} button 3 times on the remote.
(Status button is the one above Setup button)
* The Service Menu (CAT) will be displayed.
(CAT = Computer Aided Test Menu)
* Use the cursors keys on the remote to select a mode.
* And press the Action key {} to access the menu.
* To exit each mode, press the {R} button.
* To exit the CAT menu, press the {STATUS} button.
* Press {POWER} button on the Plasma to exit the service mode.
